Refund and Return Policy

Returns 
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

12K MOTOR office is located in Rydalmere NSW. A return request, by email, must occur within 5 business days of delivery. The customer is responsible for the monetary cost of return shipping to our Sydney Warehouse, and will receive a full refund less Shipping Fee (if applicable), merchant fees, and a $100.00 restocking fee for your full fairing kit order. These terms will apply, as long as the 12K Fairings Management Team confirm the item is Uninstalled and Undamaged upon inspection. 12K Fairings will not accept returns after 5 days of the date of delivery.

12K Fairings has a lot of experience painting fairing kits over the last 10 years. However, we do not guarantee a color and design match. Most customers say the color is very similar motorcycle industry colors and do not notice a difference. We do not use traditional paint codes, nor do we guarantee that our custom mixed colors can be color matched by a paint shop not associated with 12K Fairings.

All special order items and AU-STOCKING items will be charged a 25% restocking fee upon return.

12K FAIRINGS does sell individual parts, but do not guarantee a perfect color match. Individual parts are not returnable. 12K FAIRINGS does sell unpainted fairing kits made from 100% ABS plastic molded to OEM specifications to allow for precision fitment(injection molded fairing models only). Please note, we suggest you test fit the parts before painting them to verify fitment.

The RETURN policy does not apply to damaged parts. We have a warranty policy in place. (Please read below) If any order is subject to shipping damage, we have a warranty department, that can help in the process of part replacements.

Standard Design Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of order within 12 hours will be issued a full refund minus merchant and processing fees.

Cancellation of order within 48 hours will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees, and a $50.00 restocking fee.

Cancellation of order after 48 hours will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees, and a $100.00 restocking fee.

Cancellation of order after 5 days will be issued a refund minus merchant fees, processing fees, and a $150.00 restocking fee.

No cancellation of order allowed once fairing kit is shipped out.

 

Custom Design Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of order within 12 hours will be issued a full refund minus merchant and processing fees.

Cancellation of order within 48 hours will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees, and a $100.00 restocking fee.

Cancellation of order after 48 hours will be issued a refund minus merchant and processing fees, and a $150.00 restocking fee.

Cancellation of order after 5 days will be issued a refund minus merchant fees, processing fees, and a $200.00 restocking fee.

No cancellation of order allowed once fairing kit is shipped out.

Personalized Custom Design Cancellation/Return Policy

Fairing orders have been customized specifically for an individual customer cannot be cancelled or returned as these are created for a specific that specific individual. (Based on Australia consumer law)

Shipping Damage, Defects, and Missing Parts

The case must be opened within 2 days of receiving the fairing kit. Photos and description of damage must be included in the case to initiate replacement parts. Any case or claim after the 2-day limit will not be approved for warranty replacement. Please Do not install the kit if there is an issue! Warranty is voided if the fairing kit has been installed prior to a warranty claim resolution. Complimentary items are not covered under warranty.

Fitment Issues

12K Fairings guarantees 100% fitment (injection molded fairing models only). If there is a fitment issue, please open a support ticket within 5 days of receiving and installation attempt. Photos and description of issue must be included in the case to initiate the warranty. Any issue reported after 5 days will not be accepted.

Melting and Fading

The case must be opened within 30 days of receiving you fairing kit. Photos and description of damage must be included in the email to initiate the claim process. Any issue reported after 30 days will not be accepted.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

 

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

Any Customized painting fairings.
Gift cards 
Downloadable software products 
Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable) 
Book with obvious signs of use 
CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened 
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error 
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable) 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sales@12kgroup.com.

Sale items (if applicable) 
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Gifts 
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
