Extra services for fairings

Aftermarket fairings can typically be manufactured in as few as ten to fifteen days, depending on the complexity of the design.

Traditional race fairing kits of fibreglass or carbon fibre require additional labour and time to instal correctly.

We will need additional time if you decide that you want to make any changes to the colour scheme or layout of the document. We will always send you a photo of the completed product and your fairing kit shipment.

Having complementary hues

Note that we cannot guarantee that the colours of our products will be a perfect match for the OEM factory fuel tanks and fairing panels you are utilising.

Please consider this. This problem can be attributed to various variables, such as changes in the undercoat, variations in the layer thickness, and the gradual fading of the colour of the fairing paint over time.

The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) goods should also be considered. We will gladly accept motorcycle fairings with a colour sample that accurately represents the product's primary hue at either our warehouse in Sydney, Australia or our manufacturing facility there.

The entire cost will be anything from $50 to $80, with the exact amount depending on the colour that needs to be matched. However, even though we can't promise an exact match, we can provide a match similar to the original.

If you cannot provide a specific description of the colour of the fairing on your motorcycle, we will have to settle for the closest colour. In such a scenario, 12k Motor can predict how near we can get your custom motorbike fairing kit to the original colour by using images or our knowledge and comparing them.

The fact that the original motorcycle fairing was a different colour is irrelevant; thus, yes, it does not matter.

A 12k motor fairing kit will have a colour slightly different from the one that came standard on the bike, which may or may not impact you (Or the fuel tank).

Either utilise original equipment manufacturer (OEM) fairing components or paint the gas tank to match the colour of our fairing kit to achieve the best possible results (OEM).
