Extra services for fairings

The majority of aftermarket fairing designs require 10 to 15 days to manufacture.

Creating a race fairing kit from traditional fibreglass or carbon fibre will take longer. We will require more time if you wish to make changes to the colour, design, or anything else at this production stage.

When you receive a fairing kit from us, we will email you a photo of the completed product for your approval.

Having complementary hues

To ensure a precise fit, 12k motors cannot guarantee that their goods' colours will match those of the OEM factory fairing panels and fuel tanks you are using.

Unpredictable situations, such as fading of the fairing colour paint, differences in the undercoats and layers, and the substance of the OEM product, cause this phenomenon.

Motorcycle fairings can be sent to our warehouse in Australia or our factory in Sydney with a tiny sample of the original item for colour matching.

Depending on what colour you'd like us to match, we'll charge between $50 and $80 for the service.

We can't guarantee an exact match, but we can assure a very close one.

Please send us a photo of the OEM fairing component before you send it to us.

Suppose you cannot supply us with the exact colour of your original motorcycle fairing. In that case, we at 12k Motor can tell you how close we can get your custom motorcycle fairing kit order to the original colour using photographs or our knowledge. 

That's true even if your original motorcycle fairing's colour isn't the same.

Unless it bothers you, you can live with a little colour difference between OEM fairing kits and 12k motor fairing kits (Or fuel tank).

Painting the gas tank to match our fairing kit colour or acquiring fairing components made by the original equipment manufacturer are the two options we recommend for optimum results (OEM).

Depending on the colour and paint business, repairing a full gasoline tank in Australia typically costs between $250 and $400.

Alternatively, you should have expected this to be much less than it is.
