Having complementary hues

12k motors cannot guarantee that the colours of their products will match the OEM factory fairing panels and fuel tanks you are utilising to ensure a correct fit.

For example, the faded colour of the fairing paint and variances in undercoat and layer thickness are to blame for this occurrence.

Fairings can be delivered to our facility in Sydney with a small sample of the original item to ensure a colour match.

Depending on the colour you want us to match, we charge between $50 and $80 for this service.

However, we cannot promise an exact match, but we can guarantee a very near one.

Before you ship anything to us, could you perhaps send a picture of the OEM fairing component.

Your original motorbike fairing colour may not be available to us. 

We at 12k Motor can inform you, based on photos or our own experience, how near we can get your custom motorbike fairing kit order to the original colour.

Even if your original motorcycle fairing's colour differs from the new one, this is still true.

If the slight colour difference between OEM and 12k motor fairing kits doesn't concern you, don't sweat it (Or fuel tank).

For the best results, we recommend either painting the gas tank to match our fairing kit colour or using fairing components made by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

Repairing a full fuel tank in Australia typically costs between $250 and $400, depending on the colour and paint business.

Instead, you should have expected this to be significantly less than it is.
