Fairings Production Process and Time

We stock several variations of Yamaha R3 aftermarket fairings in Australian warehouse and our own factory in China, we will mark them if we have stocking for that design.

Because there are too many different motorcycle fairing models, years of manufacture, also with different designs and colors, we are unable to stock all of these customized deigns of these aftermarket fairing kits.

The fairings production process and time including following steps:

• Make sure your order details and requests are clear to us.
• Preparations and Painting for your motorcycle fairings. (Inside as well)
• Apply Graphics, Decals and Clear Coat on top of stickers to give your fairing kit durable finish.
• Checking of your motorcycle fairings and take photos of them, then pack well each single panel.
• We will need extra steps if your order is customized design or color, to ensure your special fairing design is what you expected.

Most aftermarket fairing designs have a production schedule and method of approximately 10 to 15 working days.

It will take longer to produce a fibreglass race fairing kit or a Race-style fairing kit. Please allow additional time if you wish to change the colour scheme, design, or any other specifications during production.

If you request a complex or custom fairing design, we will email you photographs of the completed fairings before shipping the kit.

Fairings Color Matching

When you order a motorcycle fairing kit from 12k motorbike fairings, we will do our best to match the colour based on photos or our experience, and we will let you know how close we come to matching the colour of your original motorbike fairing.

Avoid 12k motor fairing kits if you require an exact match for your OEM fairing kit (or fuel tank) and cannot bear the thought of a minor paint colour change. We suggest purchasing a set of OEM factory fairings or painting the gas tank to match the colour of our fairing kit.

We know that in Australia, depending on the colour and paint shop, refinishing an undamaged fuel tank can cost between $250 and $400. Which is less than you'd expect, and the colour can be readily matched. With the purchase of our aftermarket fairing package, gas tank stickers are provided at no additional charge.

Removing and reinstalling a complete set of aftermarket fairings is more complex than it may seem. You must recall the steps for removing the previous fairings, including which fasteners go in which holes and how to remove the clips and rubbers from the old panel and attach them to the new fairing section.
